Default Changing professions in arenas

Wouldn't it be nice if you could change your profession on PvP-only chars in the PvP Arenas? This way, you wouldn't have to re-create your char all the time, which would save you a lot of time, and would be perfect if you only have one slot for a PvP char. They could add a special rune trader too, which gives you access to all the runes you've unlocked for free if you're on a PvP-only char. Basically, it would only simplify features allready there.

Secondary "profession changers" for RP chars like the ones in the dessert would also be nice to have in arenas, but off course you'd have to be ascended to use those.

What do you guys think?

edit: Made it all a bit clearer

The best solution would to simply have more characters slots, unless you're willing to delete some of you're other characters.

Yeah, I agree that there should be more character slots, but thats a different matter. The suggestion/idea is not only about solving the problem with too few slots, but also that it would make it a lot easier to customize your PvP char on-the-fly. I for one would try out a lot more "exotic" profession combinations than I do now if this was possible.

just remake it. If you bought runes for a pvp character, it is somewhat sad

They should scatter the guys from the desert that change your secondary around to after ascencion areas and even pre acension. I mean why should I have to leave just to come back? On RPG and PVP btw.

Maybe allow us to save our pvp character setup as a personal template, which gets stored in a file client-side?

So when making a pvp character, you can just select your builds from the template list.

i think with client side files it could get easy to use unlocked skills/etc.

good thing would be some kind of "weaponsmith", rune trader and a guy who can change your 2nd profession. so u can easily switch everything.

4 slots are enough. i often have to delete a char and make it new bacause i just need another weapon upgrade. but if u really want more slots, u can buy a second account.

That would be nice too, but there's always a certain risc involved when using client-side files in a multiplayer game (some people might figure out a way to use skills/runes they havn't unlocked and such).

Buying a second account doesn't solve that "problem" since you'd have to unlock all the stuff once more, thus making it unattractive to buy one. If you diddn't have to unlock it all again, I would've bought another one ages ago, and I'm sure other people would have as well.

However, even if there were more slots, I would have wanted the "profession changers" and rune/weapon/armor-guys in the tombs, since it would utilize features allready implemented in the game, making it a lot easier to customize a character without having to delete it. It's not meant as a way to fix the "not enough slots problem", but as a way to change your character without going trough the same process over and over again. I think this would be really neat not only when you're changing your build, but also when you're on an "unlocking rampage", since you would just unlock the item, and then head on over to the rune/weapon guy and get it (only with a PvP-only char off course).

I really want to change secondary profession of my pvp char. As I only have one slot left for pvp char, I have to delete and remake a new char whenever I want to try out another secondary.
There should be an NPC in pvp arenas to change secondary. It will save a lot of time and trouble. Of course, pve charecters need to finish respective quest to change.
P.S.I search the forum and come up with this thread.
